What can I expect?
Expect to feel good about yourself! PiYo will help you appreciate what your body is capable of. Expect a low impact workout that will increases your heart rate and help you relocate some of those muscles you haven’t used in awhile.
What should I bring?
There are a few items that will help you get the most out of your practice:
- Yoga Mat Your own “Yoga” mat is one of the best ways to enhance your practice. Yoga mats are made specifically to help with slipping and sticking of you hands and feet. If you don’t have a mat don’t worry! We have clean, ready to use mats at 124 you can use.
- Water Water is so important to drink before, during, and after your classes. Yoga classes help your body ignite your metabolism. To keep your body ready for class keep hydrated throughout the day.
- Towel A towel is a very useful tool to have alongside your mat. Whether you need it to dab the sweat off your forehead or to provide some extra cushion during a specific asana (pose).
What do I wear?
Any athletic clothes that you are comfortable in. Classes are done without shoes so don’t worry about them.
